Fear to Normalize is a self-produced documentary examining how changing attitudes towards women's football reflect wider social change in Morocco. Built around exclusive interviews with players, federation officials, club executives and broadcasters, the film uncovers the barriers, breakthroughs and personal stories that have shaped the game's development. Independently researched, directed, filmed and edited as my Master's final project in Sports Journalism, it brings together investigative reporting and long-form visual storytelling.

ASFAR’s Historic FIFA Women’s Champions Cup Journey | Training, Matchday & Exclusive Interviews

CAF Women’s Champions League winners ASFAR represented Africa at the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, reaching the semi-finals to face Arsenal Women in the club’s first-ever meeting with European opposition. The tournament gave clubs from different confederations the opportunity to compete against each other, with ASFAR testing themselves against one of Europe’s top sides.

With many ASFAR players also forming the core of the Moroccan women’s national team, the experience of competing at this level adds to their development ahead of future international competitions.

This video follows ASFAR’s journey from the final training session to matchday, featuring exclusive player interviews, fan reactions and behind-the-scenes coverage, produced for Safircom’s social media platforms.
