With Africa hosting its first official Flag Football Championship in Cairo, the tournament marked a significant step in the sport’s development ahead of its Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028. I interviewed flag football international Meriem Zaafari about her experience, the opportunities created by the competition, and the game’s growing profile across the continent. The interview was published as an Arabic video feature for Safircom and accompanied a Sports Gazette feature in English covering the championship.

Speaking at the Global Leadership, Management & Conflict Resolution Summit | University of Cambridge

As part of the management team for the Global Peace Chain Leadership, Management & Conflict Resolution Summit at the University of Cambridge, I helped deliver an international programme for 120 delegates from more than 70 countries. Alongside coordinating the event, I had the opportunity to speak during the summit, contributing to discussions on leadership and international collaboration while supporting delegates throughout the programme.
